Terms and
Conditions
Last updated October 25, 2026
Draft for review. The operator, support contact and governing-law fields still need real details. Review these terms for the markets where twelf will be offered before publishing.
These terms cover your use of the twelf iOS app and this demo website. By using either one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who provides twelf
twelf is provided by [developer’s legal name or company] (“we”, “us”, or “the developer”). Questions about these terms can be sent to [support email].
Using the app
You may use twelf for your own lawful, personal purposes. You are responsible for the topics and text you enter. Do not use the app to violate another person’s rights or applicable law, or to interfere with the app or its services.
The current app stores your collection on your iPhone. It does not provide cloud synchronization or promise recovery if you lose or reset the device. Keep any information you need elsewhere.
AI notes and third-party services
twelf can send a topic to an AI provider to make a short note. AI output may be incomplete, mistaken or out of date. Use the source links when provided and verify anything that matters. Notes are for general information, not professional advice.
If you connect your own provider key, that provider’s terms and charges apply. You are responsible for the key and provider account you choose. Apple, AI, search, hosting and other third-party services operate under their own terms.
Availability and changes
We may change, pause or discontinue a feature as the app develops. The app depends on iOS, internet access and third-party providers. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every request will produce a note.
Ownership
We keep our rights in twelf, its interface and its branding. You keep your rights in the text you provide. You give twelf permission to process that text only as needed to provide the feature you request, including sending it to the selected AI service.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent the law allows, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law says cannot be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app, a third-party provider or generated content. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Suspension
We may restrict access if continued use creates a security, legal or service risk. You can stop using the app at any time and delete its local data from your iPhone.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without removing any consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts in [venue] will hear disputes when local law permits.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date above when these terms change. If a change materially affects your use, we will give notice in the app or through the service where practical.
